Depending on the application, wood flooring can be safely installed in basements and high humidity spaces such as bathrooms with the right preparation. Areas of rot or structural issues will be repaired before work begins to ensure a beautiful result.

Kitchens especially benefit from wood floors as they are easy to stand on for long periods of time, offer a non-slip surface, and provide a resilient surface that helps prevent breakage of fallen dinnerware.

Kapalua Floors will tear out old carpet, wood or tile, make certain the subfloor is appropriate for the new installation and haul away the debris from demolition. Our experienced installers will create a smooth, level surface, installing new subfloor if needed.
